His expertise lies in distilling difficult financial problems into actionable advice for his clients. He has served as a court-appointed receiver, a Chapter 11 trustee and an independent director for distressed organizations, with particular depth in senior housing. His career as a Chief Financial Officer for both public and private companies provides a unique platform for developing solutions for companies' complex capital needs. Stuart's experience working through companies' most challenging situations provides an invaluable basis for helping both distressed and healthy organizations. He has served in interim management and advisory roles for underperforming companies and has managed troubled loan resolution within fixed income portfolios. His experience includes serving as Assistant CRO for a $120 million regional hospital through Chapter 11, a Section 363 asset sale and a successful wind-down; as Interim CFO for a $140 million manufacturing company, stabilizing operations and leading it out of forbearance; and as a workout and restructuring officer at BBVA, managing approximately $150 million of middle-market and syndicated troubled loans. Before joining Implex, Matt was a Director at CR3 Partners and Meadowlark Advisors and a Senior Manager at Armanino LLP. He has been an active member of TMA Global since 2012. He advises on liquidity, operations and strategy from case filing through resolution, and works directly with senior leadership on financial analysis, creditor communications and restructuring deliverables across all active engagements. Edul prepares cash flow forecasts, monthly operating reports and other court-required schedules in compliance with U.S. Trustee reporting standards, and analyzes operating performance, working capital and vendor obligations to support DIP financing, bankruptcy reporting and restructuring strategy. He coordinates with legal counsel, lenders and operating teams on case development, financial data reconciliation and court filings. Edul holds an M.S. in Finance from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business and a B.S. in Economics with Financial Applications from Southern Methodist University. He is a co-founder and board member of Weekend Wonders 4 Kidz, a Dallas-area nonprofit serving underserved middle and high school students since 2016, and a former member of SMU's Division I men's golf team.
